Upcoming Session Details

We are currently in our Fall 2019 session. Details will be posted here for our Winter or Spring 2020 sessions when they become available.

Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when we open registration. Our Spring 2019 session filled up in 24 hours!

Before registering, please have your girl’s motivation statement with you and ready to be typed in during registration. These motivation statements help coaches provide a positive experience for all of our participants.

Girls will be able to register for one, two, or all three of the activity days, but are strongly encouraged to try all three:

  • Tuesdays: Running + a lesson, 4 to 5:30 PM

  • Thursdays: Cross-training + a lesson (activities such as hiking, yoga, fly casting, and more!), 4 to 5:30 PM

  • Saturdays: Mountain biking, 10 AM to 12 PM

No experience in any particular sport is required for registration. We all learn together and encourage each other.

Educational lessons rotate each session and consist of evidence-based curriculum about body image, leadership, nutrition, excellence vs. perfectionism, goal-setting, active listening, mindful eating, ultra running, and much more! Guest speakers each session also vary.

Cost: $110. Scholarships and gear are available to those in need. All participants receive a custom Girls Thrive item (shirt, hat, etc.), water bottle, and healthy snack each practice.

Eligibility: Open to all girls currently in grades 6 through 12.

Gear: Available at no cost to anyone who needs it! GT bikes and helmets are available to use on a "first come, first served" basis during the session.

Location: On most dates, we will meet at the current Girls Thrive Headquarters (GTHQ) in the First Christian Church on the second floor, located at 311 Power Street. Parents will be informed via email at the beginning of the week if another meeting location is necessary. For example, on a cross-training day, we may meet at Stonetree Climbing Center instead of the GTHQ.

Safety: We are committed to providing a safe and positive environment for every girl. Our volunteer coaches have had background checks and are passionate about our mission. Most coaches are also First Aid and CPR certified.
